At Oak Grove Baptist Church, our unwavering mission is to glorify God in every aspect of our lives, in accordance with the Scriptures.
Each week, we are committed to leading both our members and visitors in the worship of Jesus Christ—worship that is offered in spirit and
in truth, as prescribed by God’s Word. We strive to maintain a Christ-centered, doctrinally faithful approach to worship, honoring the rich heritage of hymns that have stood the test of time, while also embracing hymns and songs that are rooted in biblical truth and inspired by faithful modern hymn writers.
In all that we do, we seek to be instruments of God’s grace, proclaiming His gospel and reflecting His love to a world in need. As a congregation, we believe that true worship encompasses far more than song—it is a life of surrender to the sovereign will of God, lived in obedience to
His Word, and devoted to the exaltation of Christ in every area of life.

WORSHIP CHOIR
At Oak Grove Baptist Church, we believe that congregational singing is a vital expression of worship commanded in Scripture. Our choir serves to support and enrich the gathered worship of God’s people, leading the congregation in reverent, Christ-exalting praise each Lord’s Day.
Whether participating throughout the year or during special services, we welcome members and guests who desire to use their voices in service to the Lord.
Age is no barrier—our choir is blessed by the faithful presence of seasoned saints and is strengthened by the zeal of younger voices, including those 14 and older, who seek to glorify Christ through song.
We understand music in worship not as performance, but as proclamation—declaring the truth of God’s Word through biblically grounded, theologically rich hymns and spiritual songs that stir the heart and instruct the mind.
If the Lord has gifted you with a voice to sing, we invite you to join us in this sacred task: to glorify God, edify His church, and declare His excellencies through the beauty of musical worship.
PRAISE TEAM & BAND
If you play a musical instrument, aspire to lead our choir and congregation as part of the praise team, or have experience leading in corporate worship, we'd love for you to be a part of this group. We are currently welcoming new members and hopeful to expand our existing praise band with a greater variety of instrumentalists and singers.

AUDIO/VISUAL CREW
Our team of A/V volunteers is absolutely crucial to facilitating worship at Oak Grove Baptist Church providing technical support during services. We need more crew members to operate and mix our digital sound board, advance our computer presentation software, record & and produce worship services, institute live-streaming, and more as we continue to update our systems and ministries.

WORSHIP GREETERS
Often overlooked but absolutely essential, our team of greeters plays a vital role in shaping the first impression of Oak Grove Baptist Church. From welcoming guests and members in the parking lot and at the doors, to directing traffic, answering questions with a warm smile, and lending a helpful hand, these volunteers are on the frontlines of hospitality. They also help maintain a watchful eye to provide an added layer of security during our worship services.
You may not feel called to serve from the stage, but if you’re willing to serve behind the scenes with a servant’s heart, this ministry needs you.
Our greeter team is full of genuine superstars—and there’s room for more.
