Here’s the truth: life can be challenging—whether you’re six or ninety-six, and every age in between.
No matter what season of life you’re in, one thing remains the same—we need each other. Yet, so often, we hide the areas where we struggle most and try to carry the weight alone.
But God never intended for us to live that way. He has uniquely designed the body of Christ to serve, support, and encourage one another. When we live in a biblical community, we meet needs that might otherwise go unnoticed, and we grow together in the process.
Discipleship is rarely tidy. It can be messy, because let’s be honest: we’re all a bit of a mess. Life is hard—but it’s so much better when we walk through it together.
That’s why a biblical community through small groups is essential to the life of
Oak Grove Baptist Church. It’s more than a program. It’s part of what makes this church a family.
SO, WHAT IS BIBLICAL COMMUNITY?

At Oak Grove Baptist Church, we may not be a perfect family, but we are united as one body in Christ.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to know Jesus and to make Him known. This mission is lived out through the way we love, serve, and disciple one another in community. We believe that true fellowship, Bible study, and discipleship happen best when we are gathered together. Biblical community is the place where we grow most effectively, becoming more like Jesus each day, while being encouraged and held accountable by fellow believers.
At Oak Grove, you can find opportunities to connect through Sunday School classes, mid-week prayer and Bible study, Sunday night discipleship for kids, ministry teams, and other fellowship events.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
(for all ages)
At Oak Grove, Sunday School is not just an opportunity to learn, but a place where we gather around the Word of God to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our mission is to create a Christ-centered environment where children, youth, and adults alike can be equipped to follow Christ faithfully and make Him known to the world.
For children, we provide a safe and engaging environment where they are taught the foundational truths of Scripture, helping them understand who God is and how He has revealed Himself through His Word. Our aim is to lay a solid biblical foundation that will guide them throughout their lives, pointing them to the gospel of Jesus Christ, the only hope for salvation.
For adults, we offer in-depth study of Scripture, focusing on the rich truths of the Bible and how they apply to our daily lives. We seek to deepen our understanding of God’s Word and grow in our love for Christ, all while encouraging one another in our spiritual walk and holding each other accountable in our pursuit of holiness. Whether you are new to the faith or have walked with Christ for many years, Sunday School provides a space for ongoing discipleship and fellowship.
Our Sunday School classes are designed to foster a deeper understanding of Scripture, equip us for faithful living, and strengthen our commitment to the gospel. We believe that studying the Bible in community is essential for growing in faith, as we learn together, share life together, and support one another in our walk with the Lord.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ADULT PRAYER & YOUTH BIBLE STUDY
At Oak Grove Baptist Church, we are committed to growing together in the knowledge of God’s Word and becoming more conformed to the image of Christ. Our Wednesday Evening gatherings provide opportunities for deepening our faith, building biblical community, and equipping one another to live out the gospel in all areas of life.
For the Youth Meetings, we create a Christ-centered environment where young minds can engage with Scripture, wrestle with their faith, and seek answers to life's questions through the lens of God's Word. Our goal is to point our youth to the supremacy of Christ, helping them understand their identity in Him, discover their God-given purpose, and live as faithful witnesses in a world that desperately needs the gospel.
In the Adult Meetings, we gather to study the Scriptures with the goal of growing in our understanding of God’s character and His redemptive plan. We explore how the truths of the Bible apply to our daily lives and seek to live in faithful obedience to Christ. These meetings are a time of learning, mutual encouragement, and support, as we challenge one another to follow Christ more closely and become more devoted in our service to Him.
Our Wednesday Evening gatherings are not simply events on the calendar—they are vital times for spiritual growth and fellowship. Whether you are a youth seeking to build a stronger foundation in Christ or an adult desiring to deepen your walk with God, you will find a welcoming and biblically centered community ready to encourage you on your journey.
Expect focused, Scripture-rich discussions, Christ-exalting worship, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with others who share a common commitment to the gospel.

Welcome to Oak Grove Women’s Ministry
A place for women of all ages and stages of life to grow in grace, deepen their walk with Christ,
and walk alongside one another in love and truth.
Through Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, and intentional discipleship opportunities,
our aim is to equip women to know the Word, live it out, and encourage one another in the faith.
We recognize the demands of daily life and strive to offer flexible meeting times and formats
to meet women where they are.
Whether you're new to Oak Grove or have been here for years, you’ll find

committed to pursuing Christ together.

Senior Adult Group And Luncheon
Location: Oak Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall
Held on the first Tuesday of each month from 10 AM - 12 PM

At Oak Grove, we believe that life in Christ is meant to be lived fully, regardless of age. Our Senior Adults Ministry provides a vibrant community where seasoned believers can continue to grow spiritually, build lasting relationships, and live out the gospel in every season of life.
Throughout the year, we gather for a variety of enriching activities, including excursions, dramatic productions, and opportunities to enjoy God’s creation. These outings offer more than just fun; they serve as opportunities to cultivate friendships, create meaningful memories, and reflect on the goodness of God in every stage of life.
Twice a month, we meet for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship. Each gathering begins with a devotional from one of our pastors or esteemed guest speakers, providing biblical encouragement and insights that deepen our understanding of God's Word and our walk with Him.
Our meetings also include prayer and praise reports, allowing us to support and uplift one another in both times of need and celebration. We sing hymns of the faith—songs that have sustained us through the years—and offer heartfelt worship to our faithful God.
No gathering is complete without fellowship, and at each meeting, we share a meal together. We invite you to bring your favorite dish to share, allowing us to enjoy the fellowship of breaking bread together as a family in Christ.
