Based on this Bible verse, our strategy for missional outreach is divided into four distinct categories of geography ensuring that Oak Grove Baptist Church is making disciples and sharing the light & love of Jesus at home in our own communities and throughout the nations.

At Oak Grove Baptist Church, we believe the power of the gospel must be boldly proclaimed, starting right in our own community. As Romans 1:16 reminds us, we are unashamed of the gospel, and we are committed to reaching our neighbors with the life-changing message of Christ. While we regularly serve shut-ins, nursing homes, and the infirmed, we also engage in unique outreach opportunities throughout Central Virginia. Through community events, service projects, and personal evangelism, we aim to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of those around us, demonstrating Christ's love and sharing His truth in every corner of our community. At Oak Grove Baptist Church, located near the Southside of Richmond in Chesterfield County, we are committed to being a light for Christ, reaching out to families across Virginia. With individuals and families from all over the world now calling Virginia home—many from countries closed to formal missionary work—we are eager to partner with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (SBCV) to plant churches and support state-wide missions. Our goal is to evangelize and serve unreached and unengaged people in our own communities, fulfilling the Great Commission right in our own backyard.
