Begin a Relationship With JESUS
If you've recently made or would like to make the life-changing decision to start a relationship with God by following Jesus Christ, we would love to pray for and celebrate with you as you take your first steps on this incredible journey! "Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Romans 10:9-10
Get BAPTIZED
After making the decision to follow Jesus, it's time to go public with your newfound faith! Perhaps the most important way we do that is by baptism. This is a powerful and symbolic representation of turning away from our old, sinful life, identifying with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection and leaning into the new life we have in Christ! We offer opportunities for baptism regularly.
"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into His death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." Romans 6:3-4
Attend DISCOVER New Members Sunday School Course
There will be three to four opportunities each year for interested guests and prospective members to attend this course. We invite you to join Pastor and other Oak Grove leaders in discussions that are fun, challenging, and steeped in God's Word as we, together, answer the question, "So, why does church membership matter anyway?" Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about our history, basic beliefs, potential areas for ministry service, and a whole lot more.

Join a GROUP & Get SERVING
In order to follow Jesus, you absolutely must get off the bench and get into the game! Thankfully, it's also definitely a team effort - a spiritual journey that is best taken in community with other believers. We'd love for you to become a part of our incredible, Bible study groups and ministry teams.
Whether you desire to join the choir, serve in the kitchen, stack chairs, attend a Sunday School class, play a musical instrument, volunteer to care for our shut-ins, play with toddlers in the nursery, or use your gifts and talents in any other area of ministry, there's something you need to know about Oak Grove: Here we believe that everyone is someone in the Body of Christ! So join a group and get serving - We have a place for you here as we grow closer in our relationship with God and with one another!
