Music & Drama

God-honoring worship is the goal of every service at Oak Grove. There are many ways that you can join and help with the music and drama components of the weekly worship services.

Adult Choir:

This group is open to ages fourteen and up who wish to worship God with their voices and lead others in praise of our Savior. Practices are on Wednesday evening after Bible study. We meet in the sanctuary and you can join at any time of year. If you have any questions about participating, please get in touch with the church office, we can help you.

Praise Team and Band:

This group is open to all who have experience leading worship or playing a particular musical instrument. Practices are on Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the sanctuary. We are currently welcoming new members and are especially interested in expanding the number of instruments in our praise band. If you are interested, please get in touch with Pastor Patrick and he can discuss the current needs of the team with you.

Audio/Visual Team:

This group is essential to assisting our musicians and pastors with technical support during worship services. Current openings include sound board, computer PowerPoint, and video playback. If you have experience running sound or visuals during worship, or maybe you would just like to learn something new, please get in touch with Carl Arnold through the church office to discuss the current Audio/Visual Team needs.

The usher team at Oak Grove Baptist Church fills an important role for both our members and our guests. This team is involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men whose ministry is integral to church life. If you would like to discuss helping with this team, please contact Mike Harmon through the church office.
