M U S I C   D A Y   C A  M P

It’s time for Music Day Camp!  Thursday morning… Mr. Taylor,  the History Teacher, has given the class a weekend assignment.  Write a paragraph and give a presentation on a famous person of their choosing, subject due on Friday, and project due on Monday.

This is a musical with a strong evangelical emphasis as well as an encouragement to kids to share   Christ with their friends right now —    to begin to make a difference in their world while they are young.

This and That…

· Each child needs to bring a sack lunch each day                       (not requiring a microwave)

· Single-piece bathing suits are required.

· No afternoon snack is provided, so please send snack money if you want your child to have one. 

Music Day Camp Information     

· We will work on the musical in the morning, and will also have other spiritual and musical events.

· The afternoons will be filled with fun for all—skating, mini-golf, swimming.

· Each camper will need to bring a sack lunch each day (one that does not need heating) with his or her name on it.

· Each camper needs to dress appropriately (if you question it then it probably doesn’t need to be worn).

· Camp starts PROMPTLY at 9 a.m. each morning. Please be     on time.  We have 5 days to do an entire musical!

· Please be prompt in picking up your child/children, at 3:00 PM.

· Please let us know in advance if anyone other than the parent will be giving your child a ride home.

· We do ask that all campers participate in all activities.

10:10 – 10:40 Small Group Two*

10:45 – 11:15 Small Group Three*

11:20 – 12:00 Group Rehearsal

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch (Sack Lunch)

· Small group classes are Bible Study,  Props and Crafts with snack, and  Choreography.

Registration Rates

$ 60 1st child from a family

$ 40 2nd child from a family

$ 30 Each additional child

To the Parents…   We are off to a  “Historical” start and are looking  forward to some more “moving" adventures with your child. You can register your child at church for Music Day Camp. Register or pre-register online at www.oakgrovebc.net  

Please print off and bring the Children’s Registration form and Medical Release with your child on their first day of Camp.  If you are able to do more, we would love to have you to help chaperone one day on the afternoon trips.
