For 127 years, Oak Grove Baptist Church has been on mission to glorify God, love one another, serve our world, and make disciples. Last year we celebrated this milestone anniversary by rejoicing in God's faithfulness (looking back at our history) as well as pressing on for God's glory (looking forward to all that He plans to do). FAMILY-FRIENDLY MINISTRIES
"At Oak Grove, we're dedicated to partnering with parents through our family ministries to nurture spiritually mature adults who love and follow Jesus for a lifetime. Childcare (birth-5 years) is provided during our 10:30 AM worship service, but we encourage families to worship together in the sanctuary. Additionally, we offer a special Children's Moment message during the service, led by one of our children's ministry leaders. We also have Children's Church twice a month during morning worship. Don't forget to join us for Sunday morning Bible study classes (Sunday School) starting at 9:15 AM, catering to children, youth, and adults of all ages."
SAFETY & SECURITY AT OAK GROVE
"At OGBC, we are wholeheartedly committed to creating a safe and nurturing sanctuary for every family that walks through our doors. Our dedicated ministry workers, who serve children and teenagers from birth to age 18, are church members who undergo an application process, go through a mandatory criminal background check, and child protection training. We strictly adhere to a 'two-man rule,' ensuring there are at least two volunteers in every area. Our staff and ministry workers are dedicated to living with integrity and setting God-honoring examples for everyone in our care, regardless of age. Additionally, we have a specialized security team to further enhance safety and security within our community."
